New Magma Irrigation & Drainage District
New Magma Irrigation & Drainage District was created by an order of the Board of Supervisors of Pinal County dated November 15, 1965. It is organized under the laws of the State of Arizona as an irrigation and drainage district, and by virtue of the Constitution of the State of Arizona, it is a political subdivision of the State.
Located West of Phoenix, between Queen Creek and the Gila River in Maricopa and Pinal Counties, Arizona. The water used is a combination of groundwater and Central Arizona Water Conservation District water. Groundwater used within the District is privately pumped, as the District owns no wells. The District has distribution system to deliver the CAP water.
